So it is, if you choose to work toward that worthy goal. I realize that many of the choices I make as well as those I don’t make determines or undermines that wish. No matter which of the holidays you celebrate, Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza, New Years or birthdays, anniversaries and the like which may fall squarely amongst the rest, you need to be a part of the planning. Grand or simple, alone or with a multitude of people, the correct decisions of what the word “wonderful” means to each of us must be thoughtfully selected. Subtle or loud, classic or trendy, these decisions are very personal and don’t necessarily fall under what may be the popular vote. Each of us needs to weigh in with reasonable negotiation for these particular seasons of our lives.
I have come to identify that the necessary ingredients for me must include kindness, generosity, gratitude, and positivity. Also, some bling, family and important friends enjoying delicious food together. It also requires quietness, simplicity, personal indulgences and community service. Regardless of which of those that lead my celebrations, beautiful memory filled decorations with lights are required. Most important is my eternal belief in God’s miracles, the universe’s sacred opportunities and my inspired effort to enjoy this precious time of the year. So in conclusion, that statement,” its the most wonderful time of the year”, is on us for part of its creation. The good news is, if in a year it doesn’t quite fit that lovely energy, we can learn and reflect with greater wisdom of future years of what we can change to better attain it. So, everyone, I wish for myself and all of you that this precious holiday be one of your most wonderful and “worthy-filled” times of the year.
