As 2018 winds down and the birth of 2019 approaches, this transition of time prompts many reflections about the year as a whole as well as its individual parts. This years most vivid learning for me, was to embrace what was mine to manage and to surrender and pray for that which was not mine to control. So it is, if you choose to work toward that worthy goal. I realize that many of the choices I make as well as those I don’t make determines or undermines that wish. No matter which of the holidays you celebrate, Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza, New Years or birthdays, anniversaries and the like which may fall squarely amongst the rest, you need to be a part of the planning.
